First of all, don t let people confuse Manhattan Hunter Science High School with Hunter College High School. The first one (the one on your list) is a fairly mediocre school. The second is an outstanding school, but you must apply in 6th grade (it goes from 7th to 12th grade, unlike most high schools in NYC.)The only school on your list that I think a lot of is Beacon. I ve heard some good things about Environmental Sciences, but honestly, it doesn t appeal to me.What are your interests? Have you toured any of these schools? Did you score well enough to get into a screened program (like Beacon)?
