There was one in the works, but it kept getting pushed back over and over, and then when Michael Crichton (the author of Jurassic Park) passed away, the people involved in JP4 said that it was pretty much not going to happen anymore, mostly out of respect to Michael Crichton. They were having script issues anyway, the possible story lines weren t going over well with fans.Spiderman 4 should begin filming early next year and its scheduled release date is May 5, 2011.
