I answered most of this on your other question. One caveat to think about is where you are going to live in relation to where you will be working. The Phoenix Metro area is huge. There are over four million people here spread over an area just 19 square miles larger than Los Angeles Metro area.I can help you narrow this down if you can add your work zip code to your question. Otherwise you could be commuting 3-4 hours per day and that is not fun.
People are pretty much the same everywhere. Arizona has a fair number of Mexicans in the population. Basically it s really hot out here, and you ll see people wearing winter coats when it s 60 degrees out, but other than that, we re not too weird. ;)
Phoenix is such like a wild west place. I ve been there and always bring water because it s hot there. But the people are that helpful and you can easily gain friends there. So it s kinda tough working there because of the weather there.
