Questions about Western Washington University? -

I would like to know who has gotten into this school and what was your gpa sat scores and so on that got you into the school?I have gone to the website and have looked up requirements but I would like to know from people who have actually gotten accepted.Oh and I live in Florida so would that be a major problem?

Hi, I applied on October 29th and got my letter of acceptance just 2 business days later! I answered all there essay questions. The essay is the best I ve ever written.I got 1650 on my SATMy highschool GPA is about 3.365. But it shows an increace each semester (last 2 semesters I got 3.6 and 3.7) No AP classes, (ap calc and u.s gov this year though) and only 2 years foreign language. So I m a good student, but nothing outstanding. I recommend you get your application in early for the best chance of admitance!Right now I m working on my housing application, hope to see you there.WWU is actually considerably harder school to get into than WSU.At WWU Thirty-one percent had h.s. gpa of 3.75 and higher, thirty-one percent had h.s. gpa between 3.5 and 3.74, twenty-four percent had h.s. gpa between 3.25 and 3.49, eleven percent had h.s. gpa between 3.0 and 3.24 and three percent had h.s. gpa between 2.5 and 2.99Applicants to WSU with a gpa over 3.6 are awarded a $5,000 scholarship. I think this is to try and draw in more smart people lol.P.S I have to call you out, UW is not the same as WSU :) I ll cut you some slack since your from Florida.

From what I understand it isn t hard to get in. I applied and went to Washington State University back in 2000 and it was pretty easy to get in there. I heard from numerous people who had worse grades them me that they applied to WSU and WWU in case they didn t get into WSU. But that was back in 2000. Since then I know WSU has had to up their requirements because of the number of people who are applying. I would assume WWU has done the same. Not the most help, but hope it helps a little. As for being out of state, I don t think that would be much of a problem with getting in.

so you ask in travel and not higher education? oh, my...
