Is celebrating New Years 2009 on the USS Midway,San Diego a good idea? -

My husband and I are planing to spend New Years in San Diego. We heard that the USS Midway hosts a party every New Years and we were wondering whether spending the $318/couple was worth it..what would the weather be like? Will it be too cold/windy? Is the dinner good?

I ve spent many New Years on board Navy ships. Not always where I chose to be though. If they offer a dinner, it will be well worth it. Please remember, some of your ticket cost goes to preserve the history and ship. We served with Honor.
