Does anyone know what the quot;Yquot; is in staten island? -

What can it possibily stand for? My friend used it saying, are you going to the y? I know its some place in si.

the ymca

they were probably referring to the YMCA, which is like a club place for kids after school or for summer camp. it stands for the Young Mens Christian Association because it used to be a christian thing, but now its just a place for kids to go and have fun and do activities. but yeah alot of people refer to it as the Y so that is probably what she meant.
