Ways to travel from New York to Montreal Quebec? -

Hello, im looking for ways to travel from new york city to quebec in montreal, i mean by airplane, train, bus or something. I am interested in finding out how much time each way takes and if possible not the exact amount of money but somewhere close to how much its gonna cost.So if someone could tell me how much time and money each way does i would really appreciate it!Example:Car XXhours XX$Plane XXhours XX$etcThank you very much in advance!

The car is about 6 hours straight up Interstate 87. Its an easy and relatively pleasant drive. Cost is about one tank of gas if you have your own car, otherwise it s the cost of a car rental. Ride shares are also pretty popular (I used to do this), which can bring your per-person cost down to $15-$20. I think this is the best option if you can pull it off.The train (Amtrak: the Adirondack line) is an absolutely gorgeous ride but takes 10-12 hours and only leaves once per day (around 9:30 AM). It s about $60 each way.The bus takes 7-9 hours, runs numerous times throughout the day, and costs about $80 each way. It s the fastest and most flexible mass transit option.I ve never flown between these cities, but flights will obviously be more expensive ($150+) and I believe they take about an hour. But when you factor in the time of getting to and from airports, your total times is more like 4 hours, so it s only marginally faster for a significantly greater cost. I m personally disinclined to see the value in flying.
