Well, you ll be driving on I-84 straight through Boise, Idaho, but there s nothing really there to do that you can t do somewhere else, you know? Unless you re really into the outdoorsy stuff, then there s all kinds of rafting and hiking and things like that right in Boise. It s a prety cool city, but there s nothing really UNIQUE. Maybe you could stop and see a play or something? There s the Shakespeare Festival, which is cool in the summer, or the Morrison Center. You could also take a detour to Sun Valley, but again, it wouldn t be worth it unless you re into the outdoorsy stuff. Then you ll be going through Seattle, but I actually don t know that much about it. I m sure there s plenty to do though.Other than that, really, you ll be going through some pretty minor cities like Pendleton, Twin Falls, Baker City, etc. I personally don t think it gets exciting until you get in the Seattle/Tacoma area.I guess it s all in making it an adventure though, huh?Good luck, should be fun either way!

Driving from Salt Lake City Utah to Forks Washington in May? -
I know its a bit early but I m going to have to stretch my budget as far as it will go. We are going to go to Forks Washington in May for the Twilight tour (I know, nerdy and over the top but what can I say?? lol) My hubby is indulging me for our anniversary We are either driving or flying. My husband would rather fly but I m thinking there has to be something along the way to make a whole trip out of it. I hate flying and avoid it if I can! Is there anything fun/cool/interesting from Salt Lake City to Forks Washington? Its a LONG drive so there has to be some interesting places! Willing to go a little out of the way for things that are worth it! Also if you know of anything to do around/by Forks that would be great also! I know there is the beach and of course the Twilight tour but I don t think there is much else there! Except the Forest which my hubby is SO excited about! Thanks for any advice!
