Can you drive completely across Oahu island, Hawaii on a 50cc moped? -

I want to know if it s possible, if there are routes to drive a 50cc moped across Oahu island without taking the interstate hwys.

The north shore part of Oahu is going to be a two lane highway called Kamehameha Highway, it s two lane and it would be difficult to work you way completely around the island in a day where it would take 2 hours by car to complete the circle of the island. You ll be hurting the next day if you did that and it would be dangerous to ride a moped along the north shore on a moped where you d have to share the roads with cars.

I m not 100% on this, but I ve been to Oahu many times, and I asked one of the locals this question once. He said he wouldn t recommend it. The only way to get to the North Shore is the highways. Also you would most likely get soaked with rain as it is usually raining somewhere along the way LOL.Renting a tracker is pretty much just as cheap as the scooters anyway :)

Looking for a travel buddy this New Year..? -

Hey - Is anyone interested in traveling within the US between 12/28 - 01/03. I am a 20 something female from Houston, Tx looking for someone to travel with.I was thinking of going to New Orleans, Boston or Atlanta. NY, CA and Vegas are not an option since they get wayyy tooo crowded around this time.Thanks.

Be careful looking for a buddy online!!

common finding online is not such a bad thing, I have seen lot of people doing it ..a better forum to find may be buddy sites like www.traveldaddy.com etc . But surely one needs to take precautions while selecting a buddy online. All the best, trust common sense and intuition

This is NOT Craigslist

Why would you want to find someone online? You better be careful.
