Is there any point in going to Downtown Disney if Im not trying to spend too much money? -

Sure there is. I like to go there just to walk around, I haven t ever spent much money there. There is so much to see and it s fun to look around the shops, even if you aren t planning on buying anything. There are also street performers and outdoor stage shows that are free. It s definitely worth a visit. You don t need the whole day or anything, just a couple hours.

It s a great place to unwind and just people watch especially after dark. You don t have to spend money. You can stroll past the storefronts and window shop or just sit and relax and sip a cold drink.

yes its nice to just walk around and enjoy the scenery. also if your looking for something to eat one night theres some nice resturants right on the water like Captain Jack s which isnt very expensivehave fun! =)

In Downtown Disney they have a hot air balloon that they let you go up in, it s tethered so no worries. You can se all the parks! Great experience! I would definitely spend the money, it s only like $15.

Of course there is, they have different stuff that you can do and dont have to spend a lot of money. Just sit down and enjoy the scene.

Where can i get an off the books job in los angeles? -

i know i know lemme guess get a real jpb pay income tax blah blah blah i need to show less income in order to get financial aid so then i can goto college. Im not a hoodloom just trien to cut a corner to go back to college.so dont waste ur time with the pay taxes **** and illegal ****. so neways im moving to LA to goto shcool, what kind of jobs pay cash? where do you look?

Wow! With such poor grammar, and misspelling I just don t see college in you future. Even colleges have some standards.

Employers who pay under the table, often don t pay. They ll have the money next week, they ll pay the full amount later, blah blah blah. And you re not going to report them because you re breaking the law. Chances are these are people that the employee knows, friends of friends. So good luck even finding something if you don t know anyone. CA is super strict about taxes and will go door to door to small businesses to count employees at small businesses. At the kind of jobs you re looking at, you re not really going to be paying much at all in taxes, maybe nothing, anyway. Do the math.

Wow, how many times are you going to ask this? And how many times do we have to tell you there aren t jobs here? There s no sign anywhere that says Under-the-table Jobs HERE . I don t get why you waste our time with these questions here. Most people here are hard-working, honest people. So asking us to support your illegal activities is rather poor form.If you want an off the books job, you stand out in front of Home Depot with all the amigos who are trying to get work. That s how it s done here.

Go to a Home Depot store and join the Hispanic looking men standing around outside. However, likely no one will hire you for day labor as the Hispanic men have a reputaion of being very hard workers that don t complain.

Lots of postings on Craigslist under Gigs or ETC are off the books.

How do you get to union station from the veterans memorial building? -

I m not sure what you mean by the veterans memorial building--never heard of any such building. Do you mean the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (which isn t a building)? Please update your question and be clearer, and then either I or any of the regular contributors will be happy to answer.

Well if you mean the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building (that s the only building I can think of that is sort of what you asked about) it s very easy to just walk to Union Station. The VFW building is at 200 Maryland Ave NE, so from Maryland Ave, turn right onto 2nd st. NE (away from the capitol building). Take a slight left onto Massachusetts Ave. and then you ll see the station. It s probably only a 10 minute walk!
