Will i be safe taking the greyhound by myself? -

so i usually travel by amtrak because it seems pretty safe but this time around i notice the prices were more expensive so im thinking about taking the greyhound........ for amtrak its 295 round trip and greyhound is only 180 round trip to where im going, i am a woman traveling alone with my 5 month old son this would be my 1st time traveling greyhound i just wanna know if ill be pretty much safe and is it worth saving my money instead of going through amtrak or would it just be worth traveling amtrak?

The people on greyhounds are a little...sketchier. But I don t think anyone is going to bother you. If it were me I d take the greyhound and save the money.

I would only be concerned about the location of the bus stations where you might want to get off the bus for a bit to get some fresh air. Some stations are in the deep dark corners of cities and towns.I don t know, but maybe changing diapers on a bus could get interesting?

What is the snowiest month? -

My fiance and I are extremely interested in having our wedding in Colorado. However, we don t live anywhere close to the state. We want our wedding to be in December, but, we want to make sure that there is snow. I know it is going to be difficult because you can t control the weather. What is the snowiest month? Are there areas where there is always snow on the ground? Anything that anyone can tell me would be extremely helpful.And please, no sly comments...

6 years ago in denver in november it snowed 6 feet in 2 days, we had school off for 2 weeks, it just kept snowing. But i would say from November to March are the snowiest months

The record Xmas high is 61F in Denver, not 70...If you have your wedding in the mountains, there will be snow. My cousin s wedding was held last April and it was supposed to be outside on a hilltop, but they were forced inside because of a blizzard. December is usually very snowy, March is the snowiest (but there s also a chance it can get warm and melty). It does snow lots in April and May, usually in large dumps, but it also starts melting within the next few days. Yes, there are areas where there is snow on the ground 365 days a year. St Mary s Glacier, for example, is a permanent snowfield and a beautiful place that people ski in the summer. The continental divide will have snow up through June. Depends on the year, but October tends to be snowy as well. Basically, you ll never have trouble finding snow here, December would be a great month to do it

The snowiest month in Colorado is March. The second most snowy month is November. The third most snowy month is April. However, if you re getting married in Denver or on the eastern plains, you can t ever be sure there will be snow on the ground. It may happen or it may not. And I m going to go out on a limb and say that March may get a lot of snow, but there s also a lot of sun. If you want just typical winter, cool and snow on the ground, December may be a better choice. If you re going to have it in the mountains, then you can pretty much guarantee there will be snow from November through March. At least, there will be snow on the ground, it s hard to be sure it will have snow falling. Colorado s known for having clear, sunny, cold days with snow on the ground. I know there are a lot of areas for weddings around Estes Park, (Twin Owl s Resort, Mary s Lake Lodge, Our Lady of The Mountains, were some places that caught my sister s eye while we were looking for wedding venues.) You could check other resort type towns like Glennwood Springs, Breckenridge, etc.

Everything I ve heard always says march is the snowiest month. a few years ago we got like 3 feet of snow in just a couple days.and I remember an x-mas about 2-3 years ago when it was 70 degrees. Colorado is pretty messed up like that. But anywhere past the foothills will most likely have snow anytime from fall to spring.it s usually cold enough to still have snow on the ground.

By December it is always snowy if you go high enough into the mountains. If you plan to be near a ski area you are nearly always guaranteed snow. They put the ski slopes in areas that historically had lots of snow. Any where else, even in March, all bets are off.

usually march is the snowiest. but sometimes that can change since the weather is unpredicable sometimes here... one day it ll snow and be like 20 degrees outside and then a day or two later itll warm up to like 50 s or 60s.

in Denver it s March, but if you want to have it in the mountains then November - April.
