Get tickets in advance online (www.biltmore.com) to save money. A tour of just the house will take a couple of hours, although you can spend many hours on the grounds.

New York NYE 2009 - What to do? -

I am going to NYC with 5 other people, age ranging from 25 - 55. We have decided against watching the ball drop (too cold!) but are looking for somewhere near the action to have a nice dinner, see some fireworks and get back to our apartment easily. We are staying near Herald Sq and probably don t want to spend more than $50/each on dinner. Any great restaurant suggestions?
