Better Tourist Destination - Denver or Salt Lake City? -

May be going over to one of these next year as one of my friends from Phoenix has family / friends in both. Wouldn t be a ski-ing person so would be going in one of the other seasons. Love nice mountain scenery and hiking.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!

Both have a lot of attractions but I would choose Denver though the skiing would be farther west like to Vale, Salt Lake has no skiing either that would be in Ogden, but if skiing and hiking is what you are looking for you need to go farther north, to Montana, Big Sky has lots of skiing and hiking is all over, plus you have good skiing at Bridger Bowl, and Yellowstone has cross country, snowmobiling and hundreds of miles of hiking trails.

I especially love Rocky Mt. National Park, but the scenery is beautiful in both places so you can;t go wrong with whatever you choose. A lot of the tourist attractions in Salt Lake City have to do with the Church.

What region of US (east, west, south, north) records the most murders? -

Actually for years the murder capital of the world was Washington DC. I don t know about the last few years though.

i guess either the south, west or eastsouth because all the rednecks accidentally shoot each othereast because it just badwest is the same way as the east (cali area)

Is it safe to drive to Chicago from Austin, Tx? -

Me and my family usually ride out to Chicago during the winter. But we don t know if its going to be safe this year (cause of the snow)

I agree with the other answer, you can do it again, it s just that black ice you got to watch out for, my sister moved to austin from chicago last year, and when she left she called an hour and a half later to let us know her car was in a ditch....(it was dark, and she didn t see the ice) I recommend driving more during the day, so you can see the roads better. good luck :)
