I am visiting Lackland AFB, TX. Any suggestions as to what we should do in San Antonio? -

Theres few things to do on base, but San Antonio is very close and we ll have liberty a few nights so any ideas?

If you take Hwy 90 (next to Lackland) and then go north on I-10 to Durango...it will take you downtown where there is plenty to do. You might want to ride around the river on a tour boat first so you can see what is around and the narrator will guide you to some of the attractions. While downtown, visit the unique mall on the river, the Alamo of course, many other historical sites and at night there a zookoos of night clubs, outside and inside dining and entertainment complexes. You can really spend a week there and not see it all. Also, slip into any hotel lobby and grab some brochures of what you might be interested in. If your spouse is with you, take a romantic horse a carriage ride,,,,starts at 6PM next to the Alamo. If you are visiting Lackland because of someone in the service....let them know we are all proud of their service to our county. God bless and Merry Christmas.

What did you think about Body World at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia? -

Body World has a heart you can walk in and visit all the parts of the heart. It also has other parts of the body, obviously. Tell me what you thought of it, if you went!

We took our girls when they were small and my daughter was afraid of the sound. She later found that it was neat to be able to walk through a heart!
