What do you think about texas and texans? -

Im a texan. Born and raised =] I ve met alot of ppl that I ve told that I m from texas, and they automatically think that i own a ranch, have horses, cows, a gun and so on. But I don t, i live in the city, i mean i do go to the rodeo, and i love riding horses, but its just for the fun of it. So what do yall really think of texas texans? Just Curious. pls and thank you =](if you re going to be rude pls don t answer at all.)

I moved to Houston and lived there between 1994 and 2008, and I loved it...Texas is cool and so are its people...you can t beat the hospitality and friendliness...

I like Central Texas/Hill Country: places like Austin, San Marcos, Wimberly New Braunfels the Panhandle around Amarillo where I was born but I do NOT like Houston at ALL! I like how TX is the only state that can secede : I wish it would already so we can have our OWN president. You can be proud to be born raised in Texas but you can also NOT be proud to live in Houston. I mean come on Houston is only ONE freaking city in TX for Christs sake!

hahaha everyone thinks that. that is NOT the case. well, near the pan handle...and some places. and there are many country people...but im from houston, and it s not like that at all. it s a city. people just need to stop assuming things and shut up lol

when i think of TX i think of Houston cuz thats where i always go and thats where my dad s house is and some of my cars are...so i definitely dont think of it being all ranch and hick like. houston is a busy place

I think people try to hide their accents and be fake, but it doesn t work. And I think people in Houston wanna be like New Yorkers. And yes, most people from here are hicks.

You must see Yosemite National Park. It is one of the most famous of all the national parks and you may have see the famous pictures from Yosemite valley of half dome, Yosemite Falls and the rest of the valley in a black and white photo. Those pics were take by Ansel Adams who basically made Yosemite famous.Anyway, it s an incredible place to see with all the mountains water falls and sequoia trees that will take your breath away at their sheer size. Amazing! Here s some info on the park:
