Metro-North/NJ Transit Port Jervis train from Middletown to Secacus Junction, transferring for a train to New York Penn Station.

What is the weather like in Southern California around Christmas time? -

Me and my family are going to Southern California to go to Disneyland all that good stuff Sea World but I dont know how to pack for the trip..Pants, capris, flip flops. I just dont know. can anybody help me out...

LA Area. During the early morning hrs, in the 50s. By 10am - it will be in the 60s or warmer. Skies are clear and in the low 70s in the aftns. You ll need a jacket or sweater for the evening. Shoes sox if your feet get cold.San Diego. Also beautiful weather. Usually about 5 degs cooler than LA and can be breezy this time of year.

I live in Southern Cali, it s not freezing cold, and it s not burning hot, its pretty average. From my point of view, i think that you should bring shoes, pants, few jackets and sweaters, and shirts,if you d like, you can bring flip flops, but most people in the area are probably wearing boots, shoes.. etc.Enjoy your vacation!

aaaw :)I ve lived here my whole life and it ranges from hot to cold. one year we had christmas at the beach and another year we had it inside with hot coco and slippers lol. Bring at least 2 pairs of shorts/skirts,a couple pair of jeans(4-6),long sleeve short sleeve shirts,flip flops a pair of sneakers,bring a coat a scarf incase it gets cold and maybe an umbrella for the rain.have fun 333

The temperature ranges from the 40s in the early morning to the 70s in the afternoon. It never gets unbearably cold, but it does get chilly. I d bring jeans, shirts, a jacket, and sweatshirts. I wouldn t bring flip flops.

high temps can very between 55 F and 80 depending on where you are, and lows between 40 and 60. it never really snows unless you are in the mountains and rain is possible. so basically unless you are in the mountains you won t need heavy winter clothes.

Big question about California moving? -

Hi I am not old enough to move out yet but I am thinking about the future, once I get older I would like to move to California very much so or even Florida and note I live in ontario canada. I was wondering what do I have to do to move to California/Florida and how would I get like my furniture and all my thing from canada to California\Florida , if you can think of anything other things that might be helpful to me please add it .Thanks for reading and maybe answering 33333333

Unfortunately you can t just pack your car and move to a new country. To be legal in the United States you would have to deal with the Department of Homeland Security. If you plan to be in the US temporarily you could get a visa and if you plan to move permanently, you would need to get a green card. You must hold a green card for 5 years before you can apply to become a US citizen. They don t just hand out green cards like candy. In most cases, to get one you must have family in the US or have a job offer in the US.I have lived in both California and Florida. I doubt that you are imagining them as they really are. Both states have some beautiful scenery and cool cities. But living in those places is very expensive. Both states also have a lot of bad areas and poor people; they re not perfect paradises. As far as moving your stuff permanently, moving companies will can do it for you, but it might be more expensive than it s worth. Household items that you have owned for more than 1 year can come into the US for free, but you have to document every last item. Clothing, electronics, jewelry, etc will all be charged import taxes.Here s what I suggest to you: come visit California or Florida (or both) on a vacation, but don t just stick to the tourist areas. Really explore and see if it s what you thought it was. If you think you like it, consider applying to a university in one of those states. That will give you 4 years on a visa to really decide if that s where you want to be. If you decide it s not for you, you can always go back to Canada with the memory of a great adventure and have gotten a great education as well. If you decide you love it, then you will have gained connections to maybe get a job offer in the US and get the green card ball rolling.

The first thing you need to do is lots of research.Dont just dream. The situation in CA and FL, as well as, the rest of the US is not in good shape. Youre dreaming of a paradise, and the trouble with that.. Millions of others moved there for the same thing. This makes housing expensive. Taxes high. Car insurance high. You need to find out what things really cost. If you can afford it. Or you ll end up jobless and homeless. On the streets.You have time to plan. Moving that far, its best to leave your furniture behind. Its very costly to move. Check to see if the cost of moving, is more than the furniture. Lots to study !

Sorry but the only reason I still live in CA is because of my job, and not sure anymore if it is worth sticking around for that reason. CA is declining at a very fast rate, and the state economy is so bad that there is now an additional 10% taken out of every paycheck, with the promise that it will be paid back when I file for my state tax return, but last year CA just sent out IOU s instead. Find some other place than CA
