Bring a lot of money, in between 1000-2000. Everything is expensive in the city, so just be prepared to be spending a lot.

The amount of money you will need depends largely on what you plan to do during your stay in NYC. Do you plan on doing a lot of shopping, dining out at expensive restaurants, etc.? If so, then you should budget accordingly. However, if you plan on spending an average amount, then I would say around $35 to no more than $50 a day (which is more than enough).

I m thinking about moving to ATLANTA, i have a 2 year old. We are looking for a nice area to move too, where it s safe, definitely affordable,with nice people, and with entertainment areas for both kids and the parents. lounges, parks, etc. could someone please tell me how it is the live in Atlanta? we are hispanic, (Colombia) are there a lot of hispanics there? At the gym last week I was talking to a woman from Columbia, who said there s a big population of people from your country, living in Woodstock. (I think the zip is 30092.) The day care centers and schools are good in Woodstock, there are a variety of apartments, as well as condos and single family subdivisions.The weather is much cooler in the Atlanta area than what you re used to in Miami. This morning, for instance, my deck was covered in ice and I had to scrape the windshield of my car. (Right now, it s probably in the low 50s.)Good luck.

My dad lives in cobb county, atlanta. I am sorry I forgot the zip code. But it is a very safe county about 35 minutes from downtown atlanta, about 30 minutes from a couple of great malls. The weather there is not as hot as it is in miami, but it can sometimes get hot, but mostly its nice weather.

If you re looking for a safe place to live NEAR Atlanta with a lot of hispanics, your choices are limitless. Atlanta has a huge, and growing, hispanic population. Try West Cobb County and parts of Gwinnett County if you like the suburbs. If you want to live intown, there are lots of Spanish speaking people in Doraville and off Cheshire Bridge Road, just south of Brookhaven. I haven t got the zips...sorry. PS: the weather s much colder than Miami in the winter.

I would suggest staying on the north side of the city for the most part. Look at Cobb County (Marietta, Kennesaw, Vinings), maybe Cherokee County (Woodstock), Gwinnett County (Duluth, Lawrenceville) or down in Coweta County (Palmetto, Peachtree City). Stay away from East Point, College Park and Hapeville which are south of the city near the airport.
