Will I be able to use my scotiabank debit card (no visa logo) in Hawaii? -

I am going to Hawaii, Big island and Oahu. I was wondering, can I use my debit card (scotiabank) there? Are there ATM s that will accept it?Thanks in advance

The Bank of Hawaii (branches on every island) will accept ATM cards from banks signed up with the PLUS network (which is part of the VISA network, so your VISA card may work too if you have one). Bank of Hawaii displays the fees they charge you for the transaction (it isn t free). In addition, in these hard times for financial institutions, your home bank may also charge you for using their ATM card at a different bank, so you may want to ask what their fees are before making too many small withdrawals.

You will need to find an ATM that carries the logo(s) on your card and the fees might be $$$$. When you do use it, take out as much as possible or that you feel comfortable carrying so you don t get alot of fees for using an out of network ATM as well as currency exchange fees.

It does not snow in Mountain View, California. I have lived her for 15 years and it never snowed once. On really cold winter mornings (such as today) it can get frosty on the grass and roof tops. It is a beautiful place and if you don t mind having no snow then you should really consider living in Mountain View. Also, it doesn t rain that often either. No it does not snow in Mt View..sometimes on the Mts that surround the Santa Clara Valley..There is snow on Mt Hamilton right now, which is quite pretty..but none on the valley floor.
