Does anyone know any links that are or have any jobs available in salina kansas? -

im trying to find a job and no luck so i need help im 16 by the way and i need any links to applications that are available for jobs or something

Alix, my advice is rather than looking online, create a resume and a cover letter and start hitting the pavement. If you go to all of the places around Salina, the managers and the workers will see your dedication to finding a job. If you fill it out online, there is a chance the right people will never see it and then you will think they consider you when, in reality, they lost your application.Since you are 16, try going to the local grocery stores, fast food places, movie theaters and other small shops and see if they are hiring. Try to seek out the manager, introduce yourself to them, ask for an application and so on. This way they can put a name with a face, they can see how you interact with them and then you will no longer be just John Smith but John Smith with an actual handshake. Obviously that means going into a business with nice clothes, even like a suit and tie and just presenting yourself in the best possible light.Another key thing to do is to make sure you take down the managers name and also their phone number. Once you turn in an application, make sure you give them a couple of days to read it over and then request to do an interview. Just keep at it and be persistent in trying to schedule an interview and if you are lucky, the chips will fall in your favor.Good luck.

Road trip to Raleigh, NC...Whats it like there? Should I try somewhere else? If so, whats a good place? -

Hello! I am planning on take a tiny road trip over my Christmas break. I just want to get out the state for once, and take my boyfriend to see snow for the first time. (If possible, if not, it s alright.) I live in the Tampa Bay area in Florida, and I was thinking maybe Raleigh/Cary, NC would be good... but am unsure about if that s a nice place to go. And also if there s another place that would be worth going to that s not on the other side of the country. (I dont have a very long break.)Please let me know! All considerations welcome. Thanks =]xo

When I used to live there there was a saying... Raleigh. It s a great place to live but you wouldn t want to visit there. So while that isn t totally true, Raleigh isn t really a tourist destination (but it IS an incredible place to live). But you ll find stuff to keep you busy for a couple of days.Don t count on seeing snow. It s a pretty moderate climate. You might do better going to Asheville.

Raleigh is beautiful with plenty of things to do. Here s the website for events during the Christmas break.http://www.visitraleigh.com/

i would go to myrtle beach myself. or maybe charleston, sc. raleigh is ok at best. if you want a chance at snow, chattanooga, tn is better and on 75 so it is straight north from tampa.
