my class wants to take a trip to DC, but we wanna go over a sunday... are there any monuments that are open?thanks!

Interestingly, there is only ONE monument in DC: the Washintong Monument. The rest are memorials. It is open on Sunday, though if you want to go to the top, you will want to reserve tickets in advance.http://www.nps.gov/wamo/planyourvisit/fe��The memorials are all open on Sunday as they are all outside. All you have to do is walk up! You can go to the mall and see the Vietnam, WW2, Korean memorials as well as the Lincoln Memorial. You can take a peek at the White House.
