that would be age discrimination and is against the law. They can ask that you put a credit card # in as security for the room, and since you may not have one before 18, they may use that as a loophole.

Is Arcadia Ca. a good place to live? -

My husband and I live in Canyon Country Ca. with our almost 2 year old. We need to relocate closer to Santa Fe Springs Ca. We saw that Arcadia Ca. is in the middle and were wondering if it is a good safe place to live and raise a family. My husband travels for work and I am home alone often so safety is a major priority. Also how are the schools?

Arcadia is a very safe city and its schools are great. Arcadia is an upper class city with many million dollar homes, so with this you have less crime, and better schools. The further south you go in Arcadia, the less expensive it is. I really can t say anything negative about the city of Arcadia.

I agree with my previous poster, Arcadia is a good safe place to live and raise family. This is the impression I had the short period of time I lived in El Monte, anytime I was driving through Arcadia and take a quick look at those precious mansions I had the feeling I was in Beverly Hills.

Arcadia is very nice. I spent sometime in San Marino about four miles away and the whole area was very upscale and safe, plus you are very close to The Great Race Place , Santa Anita and Cal Tech Pasadena. Maybe your two year old will go there in 16 years and save the world.

Arcadia is GREAT. Just check out the stats at lalife.com. You can see about safety, price, and schools.
