How do you have a Merry Christmas in LA? -
Thanks Copestir, I will be here until after Christmas.....Went shopping yesterday at Kitson for some great gifts...
I don t live in LA, but I have a Merry Christmas at my grandmother s house where the whole family (and unfortunately the relatives by marriage are included) join together, pray a rosary, and open presents.May you have a Merry one yourself and a Happy New Years too might I add!______Sunshine - LMAO! My mom just made tamales today!! My grandma is probably making 144,000 right now!
Cope , you make me laugh. What a clever side note to your QUESTION. To answer your QUESTION, I celebrate the fact that we live in a free country where we all get along and give people of different religious denominations the RESPECT to celebrate their particular beliefs without being SO PETTY as to be OFFENDED because they are different from our own. Hint, Hint to all you Politically Correct police.May you, and yours have a very Merry (that word we aren t allowed to say because it offends some NARROW MINDED people).
By eating a ton of tamales and getting drunk with my cousins! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year while you re at it!
Just hang out with family and friends...Mmmm... tamales... I gotta get down to Juanito s!
Since my nearest family is 1100 miles away I spend it with friends. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too.
First, go to L.A. Enjoy. Repeat. And thank your lucky stars you re not in Michigan. It s butt-cold here!
I am going to Newyork in Jan, can anyone tell me where to visit apart from NY , Such as Philadelphia? -
The large cities on the east coast (Boston, Philadelphia, Washington) are very easy to get to via public transportation from NY. The train is quicker but the bus is less expensive.Of course it s possible to get to Ohio, but I believe your only option would be the bus.If you re looking to get prices and/or time estimates, I suggest you look at greyhound.com (for the bus) and amtrak.com (for the train).
To go from the East to Ohio there is of course bus options. But depending upon what city you are leaving from Southwest Airlines might be cheaper. For 10 each way you can take a bus to Philadelphia, for 20-30 you can take a bus to Wash D.C., probably the same to Boston.
