Do many people walk on the streets in Brooklyn? -

to use public transportation etc.

Depending on where you are. Some places have a lot of street activity. some none. In baioth cases you will find that it peaks when people are going to or coming from work.

A friend of mine and her husband do. They don t even own cars. There s either public transportation for work, or everything they need within walking distance.

I live in BK, and it depends on the streets of course as mentioned before. BK has its good and bad parts.

the majority of New Yorkers do not have acces to a car, walking is a necessity all over.

How many miles is Pasadena from L.A.? -

Pasadena is immediately adjacent to Los Angeles (Eagle Rock). Downtown Pasadena is about 11 miles from downtown LA.

Miles wise its between 10 and 20 depending on what freeway you take. If you take 110N, its about 10-12 miles. 10 E can be between 10-20 ---- of course it depends on where you are exactly...Time wise, in rush hour traffic you can expect to spend 30-40 mins to go say 15 miles.

Depends where at you live in Pasadena and where you want to be in LA, I live in Pasadena, and it takes about 12 minutes to get into La (taking the 110 fwy) buttt it ranges as to where I am going in La and what time of day it is... plan wisely, nothing like the LA traffic. ;)
