Should management keep tips in hotels? -

Its a busy hotel, the waitress and waiters work hard, the management sit in the office doing nothing but they gather the tips at the end of the night and each month each member of staff gets a poxy ��15 ��20! All depending how long they have worked their? Is this right? And management get the rest!

Wondering what this has to do with Los Angeles.That sort of thing would be illegal in California. Management has no right to keep tips. Ask to see a breakdown of the tips.

I am looking for a small one bedroom apartment in plymouth county, middleboro/ lakeville/ bridgewater area. I will be living with my boyfriend and newborn. I just want a general estimate on how much heat, hot water, and electricity will be. GENERAL, I dont want a stupid response like oh well this varies on how your heat is done or how many units in the building, and where you are GENERAL like blank amount to blank amount. Well I know you are looking for GENERAL but it does vary on whether you have gas or electric heat in your apartment and how old it is. If you re lucky you can find something with heat/hotwater included but it s not likely. Anyways, for an older building heat/hot water/electric all combined will generally run you $100-$200 for heat/hot water and $100-$200 on electricity. DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH electricity you use! You can even get into the $250 s - $275 for electricity alone during the winter months if you are a stay at home mom and you leave the computer on all day, etc. It HONESTLY depends too if you have electric heat- that sh!ts sky high.The people who have told you it depends aren t being stupid- they re right, it DOES depend.
