I would go to http://www.azcentral.com/thingstodo/ and surf that page. It has dozens and dozens of events and regular things here. I use that site and I live here. It hasn t failed me yet. They just had 2 festivals in the last week. Both fun and one was free.

If you re looking for something to do on New Year s theres an annual huge outdoor block party in Tempe. Several bars in Arlington allow smoking.(1) Ri Ra has a smoking room(2) Hard Time Cafe has a small smoking bar on the 2nd floor(3) Whitlows on Wilson allows smoking sometimes in the Sandbar(4) Summers has a smoking bar(5) Baileys in ballston Mall also allows smoking.(6) Alpine Restaurant on Lee Highway has a smoking bar(7) Crystal City Sports Pub allows smokingThe only place of in Alexandria that I m told allows smoking is the Landini Bros. Restaurant.

From my understanding, smoking is still allowed should the restaurant have a separate room with proper ventilation. If that s the case, I believe Summers Restaurant in the Courthouse area in Arlington allows smoking. They have a separate area that s away from the non smoking area and have always run it that way. Usually the majority of restaurants don t have any separation like that so they have banned smoking all together. I m always at Summers but I haven t been there since the ban started on December 1st so I don t actually know first hand but I don t see why they would ban it if they have that seperation within the restaurant.
