How long does it take from Los Angeles CA, to Baltimore Washington in car? -

We are planning on a road trip from Los CA, to Baltimore Washington, there will be 3 Adults that are going to drive. Have you ever done something like this? Would you suggest it?

Well its roughly about 2,600 miles. If you drive straight through without overnight stops it will take approx just under 2 days. We are driving next week from east coast fl to Sacramento..apparently that takes about 3 days..although we have pets and a child (we are moving) and are planning on taking more like 5 days so we can stop overnight or stop to take in the scenery or attractions as we please. Enjoy it!

Baltimore is in Maryland, and from L.A. to Baltimore is roughly 2,600 miles, give or take. How long it takes depends on how quickly you drive, road conditions, etc. Even if there are three of you driving, sleeping in a car is not a very good rest. And even if it takes longer, you probably should stop at hotels and get at least a few hours of sleep along the way. You will also want to stop for meals and restroom breaks.

Ok, seriously, I ve gone from Mendocino CA to Baltimore. We allowed 13 days. We had to skip half the things we wanted to see.We averaged 400 miles per day (a straight line distance of 2600 miles is useless ... expect to add 50% for touring / sightseeing). That was a pretty fast pace.If you want to really SEE the US, plan for about 200 miles per day.If you just want to scream across the US and see only Interstate highways, rest stops, and hotels, you can do it in 3-5 days. There is no point in doing that, as you will see nothing and hate the experience.

Better allow between 5 and 7 days. That will give you enough time to stop at night to rest, refuel both the car and yourselves and take a potty break now and then. For safety sake, as well as your overall comfort, it is best not to try three 8 hour shifts behind the wheel. You don t want to arrive at your destination in a body bag.

have done vegas to new hampshire in just over 3 days of straight driving and only stops for food and bathroom breaks.

What is the best mountain to snowboard at in colorado? -

im going to colorado at the end of march, and i want to know which mountain i should go to.

It depends on what you like to do when snowboarding (terrain park, cruising on groomers, extreme terrain, etc.) Breckenridge is fun and less expensive than Vail or Aspen. Steamboat is also great, lots of different terrain and fun at night. Crested Butte and Telluride have sick terrain, but if you re not truly and expert then you could be happy at any of the the other mountains. Winter Park is fun but I think the terrain there can be a little boring. So I guess I m recommending Steamboat or Breck! The good thing about Breckenridge is you are in Summit County and therefore close to other mountains like Keystone, Copper, Loveland (which is never very crowded), and Vail in case you want to mix it up.

Really any of them, its Colorado, but a buddy of mine goes out to Breckenridge and has a blast. Theres been a few ski/snowboard videos shot there, so he must be on to something.

Brown dome building in epcot? -

i was at epcot 2 weeks ago and next to ellens universe of energy ride was a brown dome building which had no signs and had the entrance blocked off. its still on the park map (see link below). its in between ellens ride and mission space ride. i thought this brown dome building was the old horizons ride but according to several sits its said to be torn down. just wondering if anyone knows what building this is or what its used for, esp since its on the park map and not listed as anything? http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/

The building used to be the Wonders of Life pavilion. As of January 4, 2004 it began to operate seasonally, closing permanently on January 1, 2007. They use it now for the Food Wine Festival (I was there this past October they had some exibits going on it there) sometimes it s used during the Flower Garden Show.

Horizons has been replaced with the Mission: Space building. The building you are seeing used to be the Wonders of Life pavilion. It had been seasonal a long time before it finally shut down a couple of years ago. They have used it for special events a couple of times, but right now it is just pretty much unused.

It used to be Wonders of Life you can google it and see what was in it before. They only use it for special events now. Horizons is now Mission Space.

I think it was this thing called Wonders of Life, which was a expo about the human body that was open seasonally which means occasionally, but mostly never. They might be redoing it now.hope this helped:)
