If you re visiting Disney World in early January (but after the first week in January when kids are still off for Christmas) then you should have pretty short lines during your stay. However, if you are visiting closer to the New Year, then the lines could be significantly longer. No matter when you visit, make sure you arrive at the theme parks EARLY! Plan to get there about 15-20 minutes before the scheduled opening time and you will then end up spending far less time waiting for rides. Let me split up my advice for the four different theme parks.First I ll explain some of the Disney terminology. A Fastpass is a feature at the theme parks that is free for everybody. Fastpasses let you save a huge amount of time waiting in line. To use Fastpass, you visit one of the attractions and insert your park ticket into a machine. You then will receive a slip of paper that tells you when to come back and visit the attraction. When that time rolls around, you enter the ride through the designated Fastpass entrance and you will have little or no wait at all.MAGIC KINGDOM-When you first get to the park head straight for Space Mountain. This is a great roller coaster that was recently refurbished so expect longer lines for it later in the day-After Space Mountain work around in a counter clockwise motion visiting the different lands of the Magic Kingdom-The attractions you can t miss at the Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan s Flight, It s A Small World, Buzz Lightyear-The attractions you can skip: Dumbo (unless you have little kids, the ride is a waste of time), The Enchanted Tiki Room, Stitch s Great Escape, Astro Orbiter, Winnie the Pooh (unless you have little kids)EPCOT-Start off your day in Future World; the other side of the park, World Showcase, doesn t have too many rides, so go on all of the rides at Future World in the morning before the park gets crowded-When you first get to the park, pick up Fastpasses for Soarin and then ride Mission: Space and Test Track. Once you re done with these two attractions it will be time for you to use your Fastpass for Soarin -Attractions you can t miss: Soarin , Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, Test Track (it s actually pretty fun)-Attractions you can skip: Living With the Land, Ellen s Energy Adventure, Gran Fiesta TourHOLLYWOOD STUDIOS-This park doesn t have too much to do: you might be able to finish everything in half a day-Start off by getting Fastpasses for Rockin Roller Coaster and then riding the Tower of Terror-After you ride Tower of Terror, go back and use your Fastpass for Rockin Roller Coaster-Rides not to miss: Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Lights Motors Action, Toy Story Mania, Star Tours-Rides you can skip: Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey, Journey Into NarniaANIMAL KINGDOM-Like Hollywood Studios, this park can be completed in half a day-Start the day off by riding Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids-Rides you can t miss: Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur, Primerval Whirl, Kilimanjaro Safari-Rides you can skip: TriceraTop SpinI hope I could help, and enjoy your trip!

In U.S.A. What are your parochialisms, among towns, regions, states etc? -
Parochialism is based on stereotypes, myth, prejudice and generalities.The midwestern U.S. is viewed as conservative and straight while the west coast is viewed as gay and liberal.New Yorkers are viewed as rude and always in a hurry. West coast people are said to be laid back and friendly.Anyone with half a brain knows these statements are not really true. They are just generalizations made by someone who finds it easier to group people in a barrel rather than try to actually understand them on a more personal basis.I think Non-Americans are more prone to carry these feelings and thoughts. Look at the Sunnis and Shites . There is less variance in these two Muslim sects than there is between Protestants and Catholics. Yet they constantly berate each other year-after-year and escalate these thoughts to violence.
I m not sure I m understanding your question. But I ll try to answer it if I can. I had to look up parochialism in the dictionary and I don t think it s the right word for what you are asking. Religion and government are two separate entities in the States so we don t really have parochialism in that way. I ve lived in Chicago and New York so I can only give you my opinion based on where I ve lived. (I ll probably get flamed for this but so be it). New York is very loud and fast and everyone seems to constantly be on the move and going somewhere doing something and work work work! Los Angeles seems a lot more laid back (It probably isn t but I ve never been there). So in this respect I think your Milan vs Naples would fit with New York vs. Los Angeles. If I lived in Los Angeles I might say it was the other way around. Fashion I think centers in New York but since I m not in the industry I m not too sure. I know there is a big rivalry between New York and Boston but that s based around baseball. Much like there is competition between Chicago and Milwalkee all on Milwalkee s end. Chicago doesn t really care since it s so big but Milwalkee is always trying to compete with them and it just can t because it s too small. Living in the North I would say there is a parochialism that the North is more productive than the South but if I lived in the South I would probably say it was the other way around. i don t think disney hire biologists.... you ll have to choose between them but i really think biology is going to be better paid. and then you can afford to go to disneyland any time you please!
