I-95 does not go to Queens. Where I-95 enters Manhattan is much farther north than Queens is, and is farther from Baltimore than Queens is. If you are going from Baltimore to Queens, do not take I-95 all the way to Manhattan. Instead:a. If Manhattan traffic is expected to be light, Staten Island traffic is expected to be heavy, and you are going to the northern part of Queens (LIE, Northern State Parkway, Flushing, etc.), take the NJ Turnpike eastern spur to the exit for 495 east or the 3 east or Lincoln Tunnel (but not 3 west). Go through the Lincoln Tunnel, drive across Manhattan, and go through the Queens-Midtown Tunnel.b. If Manhattan traffic is expected to be light, Staten Island traffic is expected to be heavy, and you are going to the southern part of Queens (Southern State Parkway, JFK Airport, etc.), take the Holland Tunnel from NJ to Manhattan, then take any of several East River crossings into Brooklyn, then drive across Brooklyn into Queens.c.
