What are the cheapest places to live in LA? -

I m thinking about moving there when I m finished my hair and makeup degree as it was recommended to go somewhere where the land of fashion is huge as it would offer more work opportunities. how much would it be to rent a flat (i d prob have to share with someone) for a month? what would be the nicest and safest areas to live in? (andpreferably cheap roo?)thanks

It will be very difficult to find something like that in the actual city of Los Angeles. Try cities on the skirt of L.A., cities in Southwest L.A would suffice, Lawndale, Culver City, parts of Torrance, Lakewood, you can also try Alhambra, it s safe and affordable (this lays Northeast of the city). I think you should look on craigslist.com. It s been a great help to me. I hope I ve provided you with something you d consider. Good Luck!!!

Well, to start off, there are NO real places that are cheap , only some places are NOT as expensive as others. (Like skid row, for instance) Stay away from the Valley, Santa Monica, and Redondo Beach. The beach towns are all high rent district. If you want the beach, go south to Long Beach. (NOT cheap, though)If you want inexpensive in LA, Koreatown, Fairfax District, and some parts of EastLA, are all nice and inexpensive . Also, there is adequate transportation available.Good luck in LA

Okay.1. Are you American or from outside the US ?... if not, you will need a Visa, which is not easy if you don t have a job offer in the US.3. You need to have a well paying job, in order to pay your rents, cause LA is very expensive.4. Why don t you move to Paris or Milan ?.. those are VERY big fashion districts believe me.

nice-safe-cheap, these 3 words don t go together when talking about Southern Cali real estate. you really have to pay for safety. you can t get even a decent studio in a decent area for less than 900$

Flat? Isn t that a British word? If you re coming from Europe then you can t move to LA sorry, there s visa restrictions.Move to London or Paris if you want Fashion.

East LA. Cheap but not safe.West LA. Safe but not cheap.Safe and cheap don t go together when it comes to Los Angeles.

Does anybody know any trains that would take me from fort lauderdale,fl to Miami, fl? -

Go to www.Tri-rail.comTri-Rail is a commuter line that runs every half hour at rush hours; every hour during mid-day; every two hours on weekends and not at all from about 10:00 PM to 5:00 am. It has stations on Cypress Creek Rd, Broward Blvd. just south of the airport. Exact fare depends on where to where day but should be no more than $7.00 each way. It connects directly with Miami-Dade s metro-rail that will take you various locations in Miami. Go to www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/

This has been answered before in detail, ON YAHOO ANSWERS.The answer is Tri-rail.Second thought.... please don t come here, we already have enough people who cant google there way out of a paper bag.
