Where is the best place to sit for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra? -

I wanted to get some opinions before I secure tickets to the Trans-siberian orchestra. Is it better to sit on the floor, lower level, or upper level. How is the view from the side? Any other details welcome. I ve never seen the TSO so any all help is appreciated!

There s not a bad seat to be had in that concert. It ll be awesome wherever you sit. I prefer the upper bowl because I think the acoustics are better. You can hear everything better, but at a less harsh volume than the lower bowl. I ve sat on the side, just down from the stage and I ve also sat directly opposite the stage on the other end of the arena. Both are excellent seats. There s so much going on that you ll be able to see everything, no matter where you are. If you sit really close to the stage, you can feel the pyrotechnics a bit warmer than the other end of the arena. But you won t lose an eyebrow or anything. Have fun, it s a great show!!

Honestly sit anywhere for the right price. It s all about the music my friend. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable ticket sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

well, last year i was in the first row. it s cool to be close, but you can t really see the lights all that well. i enjoyed sitting a little higher up for the lights, but if you can i recomend floor seats!

Nose bleeds if you value your hearing :) (that means high up) but near the front of the upper section so you can see the show, they put on an awesome performance.

Considering their music, I d say the best seat is in a completely different building...

Traveling about 6 hours and need to find CHEAPEST WAY.? -

I live in Queens N.Y, and I need to find a way to get to all the way upstate (Sorry I cant tell you the destination.) But I need to go upstate before sunday. I don t know the cheapest way to travel there. I acctually don t know what I shuld. I cant drive there. Can somebody please show me links and stuff thanks

Can someone give me ideas for a field trip for my Spanish class in NYC? -

I m a sophomore in high school and we don t have any field trips, and wanted to find out something my spanish class can go to as a field trip. Like some event coming up relating to Mexico, Spain, etc. I m thinking of like a parade or I dont know.. something of the like. Maybe some place that has a lot of Spanish stuff? like restaurant, or a place that shows spanish dancing? or museum? whatever you think would be a great idea for a field trip for a bunch of 15-16 year olds that can be approved by my school to let us do haha. thanks alot! 3

Check out El Museo del Barrio in Manhattan. (www.elmuseo.org) Or maybe see if you can get tickets to see In the Heights on Broadway. Parts are in Spanish and it does discuss Cuban, Dominican, and Puerto Rican culture. There is the Thalia Spanish Theatre in Sunnyside, Queens. (www.queensnewyork.com/cultural/thalia)Or check out the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in the East Village. (www.nuyorican.org) They have poetry slams, latin jazz nights, and plays by local writers. (Right now there s a reading scheduled for Dec. 21 by a host of Latino writers, and a comedy show advertised as trilingual .) Just call to make sure that teens would be allowed in before you go, since after a certain time it doubles as a bar. For restaurants, check out Havana Central in Times Square or Son Cubanos in the meat packing district. Both have delicious cuban food and live music (salsa, merengue, etc.).
