What places in new york city have architecture derived from the romans? they dont have to be well known? -

i need four places in nyc with roman architecture influences, they dont have to be well known but i need an address or general idea of where they are

Grant s Tomb.Brooklyn Borough Hall. The Brooklyn Museum. The New York Public Library Research Library (the one at 42nd St. and 5th Ave.)The original building for the Morgan Library (they added a new, modernist section to the library, but the original building is the style you are looking for.)

Beaux arts is n architecture style derived from the Romans and Greeks. (Pronounce that Bozart) The most famous example is Grand Central Terminal. (Not Station!) Other examples are on the link below. Look to churches and courthouses that resemble ancient Roman temples.

Can anyone recommend a good on/off broadway show in NYC? -

My Preferences include:1. Nothing that s great for the whole family! 2. NO musicals. 3. Comedy or Drama, but any genre will do if you think it s good. But if you know of a good, UNBIASED Broadway critics website, that would be great too.Thanks.

On Broadway: God of Carnage or Race Off-Broadway: Nightingale (one woman show written by and starring Lynn Redgrave) or Love Child

Have you ever watched Boston Legal with James Spader? He is in Race on broadway.http://www.raceonbroadway.com

What are some must haves when you go on vacation yo flordia? -

clothes anything just a nice list..the person with the most and has helpful things gets 10pts..(ohh btw im staying with my friend at her uncles so i wont need to many things tht id need at like a hotel lol)

What these have said is not true. We re having cold temperature now, not New York City cold but colder than our common temperature. It actually depends where you are going because the temperature, climate, etc is different in north florida, central florida, and south florida. And the temperature in Miami/Miami-Dade County is different than every place in Florida. It s more fresh and the sun is not annoying like how it is in other places in South Florida. It s better in every way. One great thing though, is that you can always go to the beach and enjoy better than any place in the States. But even in our current cold days it s MANDATORY to wear something to keep warm because it s really refreshing and you actually enjoy it, but at night most to all people wear something like a sweater or something. So you can bring long jean pants, jean shorts, cargo shorts, long and short sleeve shirts, honestly anything. The only thing I wouldn t recommend is bringing any New York City type clothes wear because it doesn t get that cold lol. Enjoy your flight. And P.S. I recommend Miami over any place in Florida, it has the best everything.

Well here in the Sunshine State it rarely gets really cold. I live here and I can tell you the last time it was cold was last January. So basically just tops like tank tops, t-shirts, some nice tops. etc.I would wear shorts or skirts but do bring long pants because if it suddenly gets cold for one day you will regret it. Bring flip flops for the beach but be sure to bring athletic shoes because for those long walking days you will be grateful for them. Bring some cardigans or light jackets because at night it does sometimes get a little chilly. If you are planning to go to the beach then sunglasses are always helpful. Just bring comfortable clothes because you probably want to do the nature type things.Just make sure you bring some comfy clothes!Enjoy your trip!!!!!!!!

As far as clothing, we here in the Sunshine State, are very casual.Bring along your normal beach attire. Shorts or skirts, bring a light jacket.Flip Flops or sandals a must have, suntan lotion, Have fun do alot of nature things, we have alot to offer.

Always get air brushed shirts or rocks or anything like that.Go to restaurants.
