The bus will be full of drunk irish. Thats not racist, its a fact. The best thing would be the subway from grand central station. Fast and cheap and somewhat clean.Just watch your wallet in the crowd at time square
Both the train and the bus will arrive in town within walking distance of Times Square. The bos comes int Port Authority Bust Terminal which is basically one block west of Times Square. The train will come into Penn Station, about a half mile away. Pick your poison.
Take the train, its only an hour travel time each way on Amtrak. If that s to expensive, then take SEPTA from Philly to Trenton and then NJ Transit to New York City.Good luck
I usually drive into Jersey City and take the PATH train in NYC. From there just take the appropriate trains to where ever you want to watch from.
Rt 95 will take you directly from NYC to BostonIf you re in another part of NY, the NY Thruway, (90) turns into the Mass turnpike, and will take you to BostonAs far as a place to stay, I can t help you.....get to where you want to be and start looking or try researching on the internet
