Are there alot of black people in Atlanta,Georgia? -

The last statistic I heard, was that Atlanta was 60% black. I think this city is a good mix of ethnicities and cultures.

i live 15 min out side of the city of atlanta and yes theirs alot of black people, i think more black that any other race... theirs a good mix of people here... white, mexican, native american, chinese, brazilian people... I like it here....

The City of Atlanta s population is approximately 2/3 s Black, and has been since the 1972 census.

By a lot, do you mean more than two? Yes there are a lot of black folks in Atlanta. Where you have a lot of black folks you also have some good food so eat up if you come here.

Are you serious? Black people are the dominant race in Atlanta. That s who run the city of Atlanta.

How far would this get if someone asked if there were a lot of white people in Atlanta, Georgia?Yeah...And to what point does this make?

Atlanta is a Chocolate city.

Does the fat lady sing?

Yes, 56% of Atlanta is black

There are people everywhere.....duhhhhhh!

that is a mean question

lmfao

Is there any manual labor or any way i can do work to get payed? san mateo, california? -

Is there any manual labor or any way i can do work to get payed?because i need money for Christmas :)

The fast way is to post an ad for your services to Craigslist South Bay GIGS Labor detailing exactly what kind of labor you can do and whether you have a truck to move things. I know you ll get jobs like that.

Advertise your labor on a sheet of paper and repeat your phone number many times (so interested persons can tear it off) and post it on a laundromat bulletin board??Describe briefly what you can do. I ve seen that in laundromats here in SF. You can offer your labor to help in moving but try and make sure they are nice people and won t stiff you.

What is Des Moines Iowa like overall? -

Wondering about the crime in Des Moines? Are there certain areas or side of the town that is bad? It is a liberal town? Job outlook overall? Are any suburbs of it safer/cheaper or is Des Moines itself the best choice? Thanks

I live near Des Moines. Like any city there are the poor, higher crime areas and the nicer wealthy areas. Iowa in general is not terribly liberal. Most people are going to be moderate conservative Christians. But, people are also pretty polite and aren t going to bother you much if you think otherwise. The suburbs are where the nicer homes are, if you go waaaay out into the country there are even some really high end mansions. The worst crime in those parts of town is burglary. You probably won t meet with violence unless you are into drugs. It s a growing city, so for some industries the job outlook is pretty good. It depends what you are looking for.

I lived there for two years. It is cold in the Winter, hot in the Summer and boring all year round. It is a pretty nice city besides the boring part. It has a fairly low crime rate and unemployment rate and a low cost of living, but wages are not as high as bigger cities on the east and West Coasts. It would be easier to give you an answer if you gave us an idea about where you are now. Big city, medium city small town and geographical location. Also do you like corn? Because there are actual corn fields within the city limits of Des Moines......I am not kidding! It is a nice city, just not that exciting.
