Myrtle Beach weather?!? -

Hi! A few friends and I are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach for spring break in the middle of March and I m wondering what the weather will be like? What is the average temperature during this time?Any humidity? Will we be cold or comfortable?

Myrtle Beach average temperature in day time in March is 68 F and average ocean temperature is 56 F. Humidity is really bad in summer time, but in spring you not gonna feel that much, should be fine. Average at least 4 days a week it s sunny. Also in spring time a lot of windy days. Myrtle Beach starts to be a little bit busy in March and the busiest time in spring is one week before Easter and one week after Easter, so if you planning to come around Easter you should book a hotel earlier, but even if you don t it so many hotels and motels here I believe you will be able to find something. You can always check Myrtle Beach weather on this local forecast http://www.myrtlebeachbay.com/myrtle-bea

By mid March, the average high is in the upper 60s! The weather is very mild that time of year and very comfortable. I would bring a jacket and some sweaters to wear in the evening. Not too much humidity that time of year. And remember, there are lots of resorts with heated indoor pools and lazy rivers. Check out http://www.myrtlebeachhotels.com for more information. Enjoy!

Low 60 s to mid 70 s water too cold to swim in, good chance of sun but plan on at least 2 days of rain during the week. There is always humidity at Myrtle, probably not real bad 60-70%. Usually a big crowd for spring break with a few parties going on either on or close to the beach and reserve your rooms now, because Myrtle Beach is a big spring break town, most of the east coast colleges from UV to Duke plan a trip there for spring break.

Christmas lights in so-california? -

i heard that there is a neighborhood in orange county, anaheim or some place in that area, and all of the houses are lit up so nicely since its a city competition or something like that. Does anyone know where exactly i can go see that, or anything that sounds like that??

Brea in Orange County.

Perhaps there is something in Anaheim Hills, but I don t know exactly where that is. However, I DO know of Eagle Hills in Brea, where people are NUTTY about Christmas. They spend months trying to out-do each other. The whole neighborhood is LIT UP like Vegas. Haven t seen anything like this since the old days at Hastings Ranch in Pasadena. Take the 57 freeway to Lambert, and go EAST (away from State College Blvd). When you pass Kraemer, look for the signal at Sunflower and turn right (IF you can... the line of cars to get in can be long). Don t enter from Birch St, it takes 30 minutes to get in from that side. Lots of streets and houses to see, usually takes us about an hour.

Idk about Orange County but there is one in Chino, Ca that I have been to that goes for blocks (I think you have to walk or they pay for you to drive through it... I m not sure... but it s better to walk)... they sell hot chocolate... tamales... and have a ton of cool houses... just prepare for a little bit of a walk... don t wear heels!

Duck key and marathon key? -

are they the same thing?I m traveling solo and Im wondering is it all families or is there anything to do? Ive looked around and I m confused

Duck and Marathon are separated by about 10 miles of driving on Hwy 1. Duck is out there all by itself and the majority of people are older or retired. There s a few retail places just across the bridge near the entrance on Duck Key Rd, but otherwise, pretty much villas and homes. Duck is quiet. Marathon is an older and a much bigger community. It s much more business oriented, with an airport and shopping. On the side streets, it s quite a mix, with upscale homes built next to trailers. People that live on Duck go to Marathon to shop, gas-up, or grab a bite at the drive-thru.

no they are not the same but they are very close, marathon is a bigger town. both are very boring, mostly families. i would head over to key west which is not too far from marathon. the tiki bar can be fun at times but that is isle morada. good travels
