Dallas, Tx - ticket for one defective headlight? - quot;fix it ticketquot;? -

If you get a ticket for violation 12 , defective lights, can you bring or mail a receipt proving it s fixed? I read a list of court fines and its almost $100 for the ticket then it says court costs which are almost $100 too, does that mean you have to pay to go to court on the ticket? Please, does someone have experience with this? I am new to this.Thank you, any info appreciated as the phone line is always busy.

The court cost is only if you want to take it to court. If you just fix the tail light and take the proof to the municipal court window, you probably won t have to pay. However, make sure you re ready to pay if something goes wrong. Several cities are trying to boost their budgets by adding made up offenses on to the tickets. If they can charge you for something, they will. You might want to read the article below in case a similar thing happens to you.http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/

All tickets have a base fine and added fees and costs. You ll pay the same amount whether you go to court in person or not. I m not that familiar with Dallas tickets, but generally you have an officer sign off upon evidence of repair, then send it in.

Ok me and my friend are haven a arugement i live in philly can i go over to new jersey with a poket knife? -

ok she is sayen u can not cross the border form philly to new jersey with a weapon but pocket knifes are legel in jersey will i get in trouble for taken a pocket knife for philly to jersey

Jersey is a very funny place about things like this. Your best bet is to vist the NJ state police web page for a clear answer. I know that guns is a big no no. PA DE carry permits are not honored in NJ.

In Jersey, we girls don t go anyplace without at least a little weaponry of some sort. I never heard anything about crossing the border, though, but even if it is not illegal you can be sure that if you are stopped by police for any reason that anything you say, do, have, or imagine will be held against you. I vaguely remember a discussion regarding knives and the illegality was based on the size of the blade. It had to be under a certain amount of inches...maybe 3, but I m not positive.

i think its best you just stay in Philly, by the way you type i can tell you probably didn t graduate from high school (if you are in school PLZ STAY!!!) even though pocket knives are legal in Jersey you will probably get arrested for being an Rtard.

I can t imagine a pocket knife is illegal anywhere. But who would even check? It s not like there s customs agents on the Delaware River.

Haha what? im never heard of that. I think its legal to take a knife to New Jersey.

I once got arrested for taking a spoon to delaware

It s not like they check you on your way there.

Florida swimming December thru January? -

How warm is the water in the Florida keys? We live in TN and want a beach vacation. Is it warm enough to swim and snorkel and where at in FL would you recommend for this?

It s plenty warm in the FL Keys to swim in December and January. You can sunbathe, too. The air temperature is usually in the 80 s in the daytime and sunny. Key Largo has good snorkeling and Pennekamp State Park is wonderful. Here is a link to some places to snorkel in Key Largo:http://www.thefloridakeys.com/keylargo/d

I visited my grandparents in Boca Raton a few years back - in late January. That part of Florida that time of the year, the locals say that only the Canadians go swimming in the ocean that time of the year. While it was not overly warm, I did find it o.k. to swim. However, I am Canadian. It does get warmer as you go further south. So if you re not Canadian, make sure keep going down to the keys.
