That sounds like the upper part of the High Line. The High Line was an old abandoned freight rail line that went into the City on an elevated track. It was all grown over, and people who lived near it used it as outdoor space. Then the City reclaimed a large piece of it and turned into a sort of elevated park. The part that s been reclaimed is south of there, and runs to about 20th Street or so. They will renovate the entire thing someday. lyk its said..the strip...but u can enjoy some good ones around the red rock casino, and such..but be aware it gets VERY full around here, lyk you want to be here probably 2hrs ahead of time in that location..if u find it closed or full..jsut go to red rock casino..its near the 215 up charleston...summerlin....
By Treasure Island. That is where the strip takes a big angle. Standing there will allow you to see all the way south and north to the Stratosphere. Make sure you are on the West side of the strip which Treasure Island and Mirage are.
i think anywhere in the streets you can get a full view of the fire works. maybe on the top of a hotel. im gladd u going to vegas. at least you have a good excuse.lol
